Prevention and Control of working Conflicts

This thesis elaborates basic overview of communication tools dealing with the prevention of work-related conflicts. The work examines the conflicts of tax advisers in the course of their practice and identifies gaps in communication. As an integral part of the thesis was made a survey focusing on problems in communication between a tax adviser and client. Based on these findings were suggested measures for improvement.
Company spokesperson

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the work of the company spokesperson. This thesis aim is to compare the theoretical knowledge of this position with the spokesperson´s practice and evaluation of the current level of the speaker in a medium-sized company. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of spokespersons, their educational opportunities, and their communication with the media and the public. It also deals with legislation that limits their work and organizations that associate spokesman and other PR workers. The practical part describes the working day of the spokesperson in the company. A controlled interview and a questionnaire identified problems that speakers can expect in practice and suggestions for their solutions were found. The thesis is also focused on applying spokespersons into the labor market. Results describing the current state of their education in PR and communication with stakeholders are evaluated which leads to recommending solutions for improving these factors.

The thesis is focused on the analysis of internal communication and the proposals for its improvement in online marketing agency. The literature review discusses the theoretical approach in examining issues, forms and tools of internal communication, the use of information systems and analysis processes in internal communication. The empirical part describes the current state of internal communication and its processes, comparison of actual communication tools based on defined parameters of the company and evaluation of internal communication processes from the perspective of employees of selected company. The final part of thesis brings recommendations to improve internal communication and the proposal of the process model.
Internal communication in the international company

The subject of this thesis is to analyze the current state of internal communication in an international company, identify weaknesses in communication channels with respect to intercultural differences and propose remedial actions to ensure the effective flow of information within the whole organization. For this purpose, the thesis is divided into two systematic parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the introduction of basic terms like communication, communication flow, intercultural communication and internal communication. The empirical part is focused on the analysis of internal communication in the selected international company, and on the implementation of the two proposed changes related to digital communication channels. The second part is focused on the questionnaire research which was used as a basis to identify intercultural differences and also uncover weaknesses for further recommendations.
Analysis of internal communication and utilization of ICT for communication in a specific organization

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze internal communication in a specific company and propose possible improvements. Such proposal is based on surveys and interviews with company owner. Theoretical part includes definition of internal communication, its effect on company´s functioning process and factors that influence it. Mentioned are also different communication instruments, mainly ICT instruments that can be effectively used for company´s internal communication. Practical part applies acquired findings on a specific situation in a specific company. Aim of this research is to analyze current situation of internal communication, determine its weaknesses and propose possible solutions of their removal.
Internal communication in organization

This thesis analyzes the internal communication in a particular organization. Its aim is to describe the various communication channels and their resources, analyze their usage and propose solutions for improving the situation in identified problem areas. The object of this work is a small company operating in the service sector. We use methods of semi structured interviews and analysis of internal documents. The conclusion highlights the positive aspects of internal communication in the company, identifies problem areas and proposes solutions to improve the current situation.
The role of communication in the knowledge management

The theoretical part of the dissertation thesis called "The Role of Communication in the Knowledge Management" strives to identify the relationship between communication and knowledge management and results in finding that communication plays a critical role both in implementation of knowledge management and in the phase when knowledge management is implemented. The communication can shape environment for knowledge management as well as can be a tool for knowledge sharing. The research was focused on the situation of implemented knowledge management where the role of communication interferes to both the environment and the knowledge sharing. The research is based on three case studies that describe knowledge communication and its context in three similar successful and recognized organizations. Facts identified in the case studies are analyzed and discussed with experts in the area of personnel management and internal communication. Findings from the empirical research create basis for the design part which is aimed at identifying the way how to leverage the role of communication in knowledge management and how to use it to positively contribute to knowledge management goals. It results in a proposed system of tools of internal communication that supports knowledge communication. The system prefers face-to-face communication but includes also other tools of internal communication. The system is put into a broader context which is built out of knowledge management strategy, organizational culture and internal communication. There are recommendations defined for each of the elements that should support the right function of the knowledge communication. Rules and guidance for the knowledge communication are part of the thesis as well. Everything is based on practice of the researched organizations, was discussed with selected experts and validated with representatives from one of the organizations. The validation ensures feedback indicating practical applicability of the proposed system and defined guidance.

Communication Strategies of Municipalities of the Third Grade

The aim of this thesis is to assess the present communication strategy of the Prague 8th municipal district and the relevant data collected in the questionnaire in order to recommend a set of amendments. Following methods were used in the thesis: synthesis, description, analysis and a field research. The theoretical part provides definitions of basic concepts connected to the subject of this research, practical part provides the assessment of a current communication strategy of the municipal district Prague 8th. The thesis includes a custom designed questionnaire the outcomes of which will help to answer the research question, will verify or refute the hypotheses posed in this research, and will facilitate amendments to the present communication strategy.
Communication Strategies of Municipalities of the Second Grade

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to suggest the appropriate communication strategy of selected municipality, in this case the municipality of Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts in the field of communication and communication strategy. The practical part consists of the analysis of the contemporary status of the communication strategy of the selected municipality. This analysis describes the municipality and analyses the ways of the municipal communication with the target groups and means of the communication used to do so. The second part of the practical part is a survey focused on the citizens´ contentment with the municipal communication. The survey is subdivided into the five component aims. Based on the analysis of the communication strategy and the survey, the complex communication strategy of the municipality Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou is formulated. It consists of a SWOT analysis, proposal of the communication strategy and its realization.
